REACH NETBALL
The 2027 Reach Netball Development Program is a year-long development pathway for players turning 13/14 in 2027, open to athletes from across the Mid North Coast.
Running from January to November, REACH provides quality on-court training, match play and game-sense activities, aligned with Netball Australia’s National Development Framework to support age-appropriate learning and progression.
At the heart of REACH is helping players build their skills, confidence and understanding of the game. Athletes are encouraged to challenge themselves, embrace new experiences and discover what they are capable of in a positive and supportive setting.
REACH is designed to work alongside players’ existing club and representative commitments. We recognise the importance of balance and take each player’s training load and wellbeing into consideration, allowing them to get the most from the program while continuing to enjoy their netball.
Alongside netball-specific training, players will receive education and support in areas including:
Nutrition and recovery
Mental performance
Wellbeing and mentoring
Fitness and physical preparation
Leadership and life skills
Parents will also be invited to a workshop covering program expectations and providing practical guidance on how they can best support their child’s development and netball journey.
Please note: Participation in the REACH Development Program will involve an additional program cost, separate from any club or representative fees. Further information regarding program fees and what is included will be provided to families as part of the registration and selection process.
